Back in few days before, we had some training session on a hill. running back and forth, making our legs get used to the elevated track and synching our breathing to climb up the hills. Well if only i bring a action camera that it would be easier and fun for sharing it.
At first one of my colleague mentioning that it is useless to train like this. Some saying it's work for them, they feel the tense on their muscles and feeling of "leveling up" themselves. haha. but I got nothing to comment about this, what you think, you will get it.
After 2 days of muscles cramping exercises, this evening we really testing the cross country tract. I bet no other battalion had using it recently except for the organizing battalion of this xcountry event, Lekir. Well the tract seems very old and untouched for months by telling on the grass growing pretty high. We all running through it and tracking down the trace of the tract covered with bushes and grass and stones. Well there's nothing much changes except for the construction site where the land keep on changing. They are building in a condo i bet, seems very luxurious and the construction time was so great. within 2 years the building is now ready except for the roads and few more stuff.
As we running until the middle of the tract, about entering the forest, there comes the rain. Slowly at first but icy as it hit on my perspiring skin. Boy i got this feeling that it will getting heavier soon enough and it sure does! There's no way I would go back to the starting line. So me and the others running through it quite seperately distanced. getting ourself some spaces to brake from slippery soil in the forest. while running, the sky turns darker and my vision fades with shadow of the trees. My heart keep on "selawat" entrusting Allah to guide me and make me complete through this training safely and easy.
Thankfully, I came out the forest first. but running down the hill back to RP (guard house). they spotted me and asking me why i'm running with this kind of weather. haha I can only give them a quick smile and pointing up the hills saying there's many more coming! :p
upon reaching the mess, my head felt very heavy like it is going to blow. headache but what kind of? ignoring the uncomfortable feelings, i managed to buy foods that i'm craving for since i'm not having the lunch today. haha.
Arriving in my room with tremendouesly wet and yeah feeling some sense of accomplishment.
