Alhamdulillah semenjak beli laser printer haritu, banyak orang dapat aku tolong especially my classmates. Maklumlah medik punya kelas ni tiap minggu ada handouts daripada lecturer but mostly kena buat hardcopy sendiri, so no spoonfeeding!
At that time, memang tengah bulan, semua kekeringan dah. SGS or Practical or DSL memang lecturer akan send dekat email suruh print out and siapkan before class so we can discuss. So my classmates usually print out at Tan Tailor which is very closer to our medical faculty. Other choice will be Koperasi but takes some longer steps to reach there. Memang both guna laser jet printer but of course besar punyalah.
I think of solving my classmates problem in term of printing the materials given. Sebab some memang tak alert, bukan nak cakap apa lah. Dia busy mungkin. Time nak pakai handouts tu dalam kelas dia boleh pulak takda dan alasan diberi ialah tak dapat makluman or printer takda. So by investing in this printer I hope to solve most of their problems. Plus, I did sell for cheaper price compared to those Tan Tailor and Koperasi because i'm competing with them. My unique selling point (USP) is that, files to be print boleh hantar melalui Telegram. Then, cash on delivery (COD) dekat faculty since kami FPKP memang tiap pagi ada baris every morning before class start. So mudah juga nak edarkan. Even kalau takda baris pun still boleh bagi time kelas as my current customers are targetted from my classmates/faculty.
Minggu lepas subjek Epidemiology send out email with attached handouts, so malam ni I post dekat group kelas about that and ask them to drop their name if they want a copy of it too. Syukur Alhamdulillah makin mendapat sambutan, around 20 set being print out today. Kalau dekat most kedai tu jual 3.8 mengikut pengiraan harga yg diberi, I sell it for RM3 only, 80 cents discount!
My competitors? of course there are a lot but mostly using ink jet. I know it's cheaper but the quality is not what i'm looking for. I go for quality and the satisfaction of my customers. So investing in laser jet printer would make mine at the same level of the pro's here.
Well it may be a lot but my focus is to let people know of my service. Building the awareness of Abrar Print Shop in UPNM! first time announce dulu semua cakap nama kedai aku funny. haha xpelah funny pun asalkan orang ingat.
Dealing with peoples are a bit challenging than dealing with machines. You have to properly communicate with them, keep up with their expectations, maintaining positive realtionship with them and some others. But it's okay for me. Go go go Abrar Print Shop !
